Biography

Jason Greeley is singer/songwriter from Upper Island Cove, Newfoundland, Canada. Jason burst onto the Canadian Country scene in 2004 following an exhilarating run to the finals in the top 4 on CTV’s Canadian Idol, Season 2.

In 2005 Greeley  released his debut album Live…Love…Sing…. The album’s first single released was Slammin’ Doors. He received 4 MusicNL nominations and winning the Entertainer of the Year award. Following the success of his sophomore album, In 2006, Greeley received an East Coast Music Award nomination for Country Album of the Year.

Following up, in 2008, Jason relocated to Alberta signing with Royalty Records and with Joel Feeney as the Producer and now Grammy winning songwriter Josh Osborne,  Co-wrote and released his second self titled studio album with 5 total national radio singles with songs like “Usually” and “Around For A Reason” reaching into the top 40’s.

Fast forward through 14 years of successful touring throughout Canada, USA, UK & Europe, multiple radio singles and music videos, and the honorable designation as an official ambassador of The Calgary Stampede internationally.

In 2018, Jason returned to the writing table with JUNO nominated colleague Peter Daniel Newman and co-wrote Love Hangover. A single released in June 2019. 

Then, In 2021, Greeley and Newman went back to the writing table going in a completely different direction delivering once again with  “Hearts In The Right Place” Captivating the emotive of Greeley’s return home to Newfoundland after 14 years away, the journey of absence and new found passion for life & love and home.   

Greeley is a 35 year seasoned vocalist in mutiple genre’s and has shared the stage with some of the biggest voices in the music business.
